Micron Technology and Sandisk rose about 4% each in U.S. premarket trading Monday, Oct. 19, after last week’s selloff, while Chinese memory-chip maker ChangXin Memory Technologies fell in Shanghai. ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) was down 7.77%, a later reading than the 6.5% decline covered alongside its preliminary nine-month profit forecast . The forecast covers January through September 2026 and is unaudited. CXMT competes with Micron in DRAM memory. Sandisk makes NAND flash storage, a different memory product. The U.S. gains were premarket moves, before the regular trading session opened. Enna Lee reports on investing and digital-asset markets for TokenPost.
