170 Million USDT Transfer Moves From Tether Treasury to Bitfinex

A 170 million Tether (USDT) transfer worth about $169.9 million moved from Tether Treasury to Bitfinex on Nov. 3; its trading purpose was not established. USDT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Tether Treasury is responsible for issuing the token, and Bitfinex is a cryptocurrency exchange. The reported movement alone does not show whether the tokens were used in trades or changed market liquidity.
