270 Million Tether Transfer Leads $998.3 Million in Crypto Moves

A 270 million Tether (USDT) transfer from Bitfinex to Tether Treasury led eight large crypto transfers totaling $998.3 million in the three hours ending at 10:01 a.m. ET Nov. 3. Unknown wallets sent $274.2 million to exchanges during the window, while exchanges sent $229.7 million to unknown wallets. Those totals cover only transfers between unknown wallets and exchanges. The largest transfer was 270 million USDT, valued at $269.6 million, from Bitfinex to Tether Treasury at 8:18 a.m. ET. At 7:15 a.m. ET, an unknown wallet sent 161.5 million USDT worth $161.4 million to Bitfinex.
