Zocdoc CEO Sees AI Agents as a Test of Booking Infrastructure’s Value

Zocdoc is opening its care-booking network to identified AI agents, giving software a way to find providers and schedule visits as CEO Oliver Kharraz argues trusted transaction systems may gain value when agents act for users. Registered agents that identify themselves can search for vetted providers, check insurance coverage and appointment availability, then book visits on providers’ calendars. Zocdoc expects agents to obtain explicit patient consent before booking and to protect patient and provider information. Zocdoc also announced a partnership with Instinct.
