XRP Ledger Foundation confirms no new coins created after major bug fix

A recently discovered vulnerability in the XRP Ledger raised community concerns about the potential for bypassing the network’s strict supply cap and generating new XRP tokens. Security researchers Cayden Liao and Veria AI identified the flaw, prompting a swift response from network developers with the release of software version 3.4.1 to resolve the issue. The XRP Ledger Foundation, a nonprofit supporting the ongoing development and adoption of the XRP Ledger, addressed public concerns by confirming the circulating supply was not compromised at any stage.
