OpenZeppelin integrates Chainlink cross-chain tools after S&P Global deal

OpenZeppelin's developer tools now offer seamless cross-chain execution with Chainlink's compliance and interoperability features. OpenZeppelin, the blockchain security firm S&P Global agreed to acquire in September, is integrating Chainlink infrastructure into its development tools under a new partnership designed to support institutional adoption of onchain finance. The agreement, announced on Oct. 20, brings Chainlink’s CCIP cross-chain protocol and ACE compliance engine directly into OpenZeppelin’s tooling, while creating a route for applicable OpenZeppelin Defender workflows to migrate to Chainlink Runtime Environment, which will support more advanced financial applications.
