XRP traded near $1.40 on Oct. 10 while staying below three short-term simple moving averages, leaving a potential $50 long-term scenario dependent on a future technical breakout. The token was priced at about $1.40 at 12:19 a.m. ET (04:19 UTC), with a 24-hour high of $1.41, a low of $1.38 and a 0.53% gain. XRP remained below its seven-day simple moving average of $1.45, its 20-day average of $1.49 and its 50-day average of $1.43. XRP stayed above its 200-day simple moving average of $1.28. Immediate resistance stood at $1.42, followed by stronger resistance at $1.44.
