XRP (XRP) fell 16% in October, its fourth-worst October since 2013, adding another losing month to a record in which November returns have varied sharply. Only three Octobers in that span had deeper losses: 44.8% in 2013, 22.9% in 2018 and 16.6% in 2024. The 2026 decline came closest to the 2024 result, finishing 0.6 percentage points above it. A losing October has sometimes been followed by a sharp November gain. After XRP fell in October 2013, it gained 489.1% the next month. October declines in 2020 and 2024 preceded November gains of 179.2% and 282.9%, respectively.
