A routine government financial update just turned into a talking point for the XRP community. Crypto commentator Pumpius (@pumpius) shared a clip of White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia citing a specific recovery figure during an official briefing. Zacharia announced that the Trump administration had recovered $58.9 billion through indictments, settlements, and civil monetary penalties. The administration also reported uncovering over $260 billion of fraud and stopping $72 billion of fraud annually through administrative actions. The $58.9 billion figure is what caught the community’s attention.
