The won weakened by 14.5 won against the dollar to close at 1,356.6 won per dollar, taking USD/KRW above 1,350. The exchange rate remained 12.8% below its yearly high of 1,555.8. USD/KRW finished at 1,356.6, up 14.5 won from the previous close, as the won ended the session weaker. On November 6, the pair opened at 1,338.5, down 3.6 won from the previous close of 1,342.1. It then rose 18.1 won from the open to the close, marking a third consecutive session of gains for USD/KRW. The figures reflect the Bank of Korea's published rates.
