Three major US companies join a widening list of firms pushing back against unauthorized tokenized equity products. Wells Fargo, chip designer Arm, and financial software maker Intuit have objected to tokenized stock products tied to their shares, according to reports. The products were reportedly offered through a platform connected to crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, known as ICE. Their objections add weight to a broader pattern of pushback from publicly traded companies against tokenized equity offerings they did not authorize. Tokenized stocks are blockchain-based tokens meant to track the price of shares in real companies.
