The industry divide in agentic commerce has sharpened into a concrete split: while Amazon has begun blocking AI agents from making purchases, Walmart is attempting to standardize their access. At the Masters of Scale Summit in San Francisco, Walmart CEO John Furner detailed this shift through the Oct. 21 announcement , as noted in TechCrunch’s report .
