A video reposted on X Oct. 23 shows workers rebuilding Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 gaming cards with two-slot blower coolers, a design suited to fitting more GPUs side by side in AI server chassis. Workers remove the cards’ original three-fan cooling assemblies, then use hot air to detach the GPU and memory chips and move them to different circuit boards. The new boards carry two-slot blower coolers. Cards are checked on open test benches for performance and stability; those that pass are repacked for shipment.
