VerifiedX Adds Transfer Delays and Recall Controls to vBTC Vaults

VerifiedX rolled out a vault update Thursday that gives holders of Verified Bitcoin (vBTC), pegged to Bitcoin (BTC), time to recall transfers before settlement, with the delay enforced by network consensus. The feature arrived with VerifiedX’s Mainnet 9.0.0 upgrade. Owners choose how long a transfer waits; during that window, they can recall a transfer sent by mistake or by a thief and direct the assets to a recovery address they set. Vaults also support transfers scheduled to settle on a specific date. The protections extend to VFX and other assets issued on VerifiedX.
