US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Added 79,800 BTC in Q3 as Treasuries Fade

US spot Bitcoin ETFs added 79,800 BTC worth about $6.2 billion in Q3 2026, per 21Shares' Q3 Bitcoin Market Report . Public Bitcoin treasury companies cut combined purchases from $7.1 billion in Q2 to roughly $1 billion. The funds flipped from $4.8 billion in Q2 net outflows. They became the main institutional bid while Bitcoin rose 42.7% and closed September at $83,570. US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Lead Q3 Institutional Demand 21Shares said the US spot Bitcoin ETF complex took in 79,800 BTC in Q3. Newly mined supply totaled 41,300 BTC, worth about $2.9 billion.
