Unichain Plans Optimism-Managed Operations in October Migration

Unichain plans to move its production operations to Optimism’s OP Enterprise service in October, placing core infrastructure under managed operations while preserving the network’s governance and applications. The testnet migration is planned for Oct. 13, 2026, followed by a mainnet migration scheduled for Oct. 29, 2026. The migration is planned, and completion has not been confirmed. Optimism would operate Unichain’s production sequencers, remote procedure call infrastructure, monitoring and incident response. Unichain would retain its chain ID, contracts, balances, applications and Uniswap v2, v3 and v4 deployments. “From the operator side, Optimism runs the production stack,” Uniswap Labs said.
