UBS Books $3.59 Billion in Third-Quarter Pretax Profit, Up 27%

UBS recorded $3.59 billion in pretax profit for the third quarter, a 27% increase from a year earlier. The Swiss bank and asset manager's result was largely in line with consensus forecasts.
