MainStreet Bancshares Posts $3.6 Million in Third-Quarter Profit

MainStreet Bancshares, Inc. posted $3.6 million in third-quarter net income, with earnings per common share of 43 cents for the three months ended Sept. 30, and a separate nine-month figure of $1.48 per share. The unaudited results were issued Oct. 26 at 8 a.m. ET (12 p.m. UTC). The $1.48 figure covers the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2026, rather than the third quarter. For the nine-month period, net interest income was $54.502 million and noninterest income was $1.972 million. Together, those line items totaled $56.474 million.
