Tutor Intelligence announced a $75 million Series B on Nov. 2, bringing its total capital raised to $117 million as the Watertown, Massachusetts, robotics company expands robot-model training, manufacturing and deployment. Andreessen Horowitz led the round, with Union Square Ventures and Neo also participating. Union Square Ventures led Tutor’s Series A, while Neo led its seed round. The new funding will support work on robot foundation models and the production and deployment of the company’s robots, Sonny and Cassie. Tutor places robots in factories and warehouses, where remote human operators called tutors provide input as the machines work.
