Türkiye Launches Digital Sovereignty Strategy to Strengthen Cybersecurity

Türkiye has launched a new Digital Sovereignty Strategy to protect its national infrastructure and reduce its dependence on foreign technology. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan presented the plan during a high-level Cybersecurity Board meeting at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. The strategy aims to reduce reliance on foreign software, expand domestic high-tech manufacturing, and protect critical networks from international cyber threats. Siber Güvenlik Kurulu, 27 Ekim 2026 tarihinde Cumhurbaşkanımız Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan başkanlığında toplanmıştır. Toplantıda; küresel ve bölgesel jeopolitik gelişmelerin siber güvenlik ortamına yansımaları, uluslararası alanda yaşanan güncel siber güvenlik olayları ve değişen tehdit dinamikleri kapsamlı biçimde ele alınmıştır.
