The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared United Therapeutics to conduct a Phase 1 trial of treprostinil-iloprost SMI, its candidate for pulmonary arterial hypertension. The open-label study will use a single ascending dose design in healthy participants. It will assess the candidate’s safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics.
