The Korean won closed at 1,338.3 per dollar, up 6.8 won from the previous session. On Oct. 14, USD/KRW finished at 1,338.3 at the 3:30 p.m. close in Seoul, down 6.8 won from the prior close of 1,345.1. The session opened at 1,344.0, 1.1 won below the previous close. The rate is now near the low end of this year's range between 1,335.1 and 1,555.8. It sits about 1% above the year's low on a full-range basis. Compared with 1,473.4 on July 21, the rate is lower by 135.1 won.
