Thailand is cutting off Bitget. Users have until December 5 to prepare

Bitget users in Thailand face a December 5, 2026 access block, with the country's Securities and Exchange Commission urging customers to consider action on assets held on the exchange before the restriction takes effect. Thailand's SEC set out the deadline in its November 5, 2026 notice after filing a criminal complaint over alleged unlicensed exchange operations. It said the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society had been notified to block bitget.com, other Bitget domains and the exchange's application. The scheduled restriction concerns access from Thailand. SEC announcement The SEC identified BG Limited as Bitget's platform provider.
