The payments giant is extending its multi-currency card infrastructure so users can spend stablecoin and fiat balances abroad without the usual conversion headaches Stripe wants your next overseas purchase to skip the currency exchange counter entirely. The payments company and its partner Plasma have announced plans for payment cards that let people spend stablecoins across five currencies, with availability targeted for more than 100 countries in 2027.
