Stellar has reported that cumulative transaction volume for USDT0 on its blockchain has surpassed $500 million, marking a significant milestone for stablecoin activity in its ecosystem. This growth underscores Stellar’s expanding role in facilitating digital payments and cross-border transfers, especially as the platform strengthens its infrastructure for businesses and payment providers. USDT0 operates on Stellar using LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, which enables seamless movement of the stablecoin across multiple blockchains. This technology allows users to transact USDT without relying on traditional wrapped token bridges, supporting efficient cross-chain liquidity and broadening the reach of stablecoin transactions.
