Starknet community backs research into post-quantum L1, 93.5% vote in favor

Starknet’s community has given strong backing to the idea of transforming the network into an independent, post-quantum layer-1 blockchain. In a recent governance vote that lasted seven days and concluded Thursday, around 3,200 members participated, with 93.52% of the voting power supporting the proposal to move away from Ethereum . According to StarkWare, this non-binding poll resulted in the highest participation ever recorded for Starknet governance. The company emphasized that it did not cast a vote, stating that the decision was left fully to the community.
