SpaceX Secures $40 Billion in GPU Financing as AI Credit Tightens

SpaceX has secured $40 billion in GPU financing, Elon Musk said, as the deal highlights how access to credit is narrowing for companies reliant on AI data centers. Musk said the funds will buy GPUs for artificial-intelligence systems. Most of the financing is callable debt, allowing SpaceX to repay it early. He credited revenue from Starlink internet service and rocket launches with helping SpaceX obtain the financing. Those businesses generate income outside AI data centers, a distinction Musk said matters as borrowing becomes harder for AI infrastructure firms.
