Musk Says SpaceX Completed $40 Billion in GPU Debt Financing

Elon Musk said SpaceX has completed $40 billion in debt financing for GPU purchases, while warning that tighter credit could trigger exits and consolidation among more than 200 AI cloud firms. On X, Musk said SpaceX has an investment-grade credit rating and revenue from Starlink and its launch business. He cited those financial strengths alongside the $40 billion borrowing for graphics processing units (GPUs). He said debt markets had nearly stopped financing companies without substantial revenue beyond AI data centers over the past several weeks.
