South Korea has not begun discussing sanctions over the Binance theft, which the FBI attributed to North Korea and said involved more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency. A South Korean government official said Thursday, Nov. 5, that the government did not yet have a complete account of the incident. Officials continued to share information and discuss the matter internally, but had not reached the point of considering a response, the official said. The FBI said last week that North Korea was responsible for stealing more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance.
