Solana Foundation Introduced Open-Source Monitoring Tool for Programs

The Solana Foundation introduced Microscope, an open-source tool that turns confirmed transactions from configured Solana programs into decoded records, dashboards and alerts in teams’ own environments. The Foundation introduced the tool on Oct. 5. Operators connect a program through a Yellowstone gRPC stream or a Solana remote procedure call (RPC) endpoint. Microscope uses the program’s interface definition language (IDL) to decode instructions and events, then sends structured records to Loki and metrics to Prometheus. Grafana provides dashboards and alert rules. Operators provide the program ID and IDL, select a transaction source and define alert conditions.
