The milestone landed on October 19, 2026, and puts the trading-focused blockchain within shouting distance of the $16 billion mark. Sei is a Layer-1 blockchain that emphasizes low-latency execution, meaning trades confirm quickly enough to suit active traders. Over the 30 days leading up to October 19, Sei recorded $278 million in DEX volume.
