The Saudi-led coalition reported the interception and destruction of a Houthi-launched cruise missile aimed at Riyadh. This incident marks another episode in the ongoing conflict between the Saudi coalition and Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi movement. The missile was reportedly neutralized before reaching its target, amid rising tensions and an increase in hostilities following the breakdown of an informal ceasefire. The coalition’s actions suggest a heightened focus on air defense in response to the renewed Houthi attacks.
