Robinhood and C2FO Plan Ripple USD (RLUSD) Settlement on XRP Ledger

Plans from Robinhood and C2FO to settle transactions in Ripple USD (RLUSD) on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) add new use cases for Ripple’s network, but the announcements provide no transaction totals or XRP amounts to connect the activity to demand for its native asset. Ripple announced its Robinhood partnership Tuesday, Oct. 27. The agreement gives Robinhood an institutional RLUSD settlement use on XRPL and brings Ripple Treasury into its operations. C2FO and Ripple announced an initiative to bring C2FO’s Instant Pay service onto XRPL, with RLUSD used for settlement.
