Ripple Schedules Up to 1 Billion XRP Escrow Release for Nov. 1, 2026

Ripple’s recurring escrow system is scheduled to release up to 1 billion XRP on Nov. 1, 2026, but the event does not establish how much of the token will enter circulation or be sold. Ledger-based tracking indicates the release will occur at 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 31 (00:00 UTC). The timing follows Ripple’s monthly escrow structure, which was created to make XRP supply changes more predictable. Ripple established 55 escrow contracts containing 1 billion XRP each in Dec. 2017.
