In the clip, Larsen walks through exactly how XRP functions as a bridge asset between currencies, and why that design addresses a longstanding problem in international finance. The Problem With Traditional Systems Moving money across borders has historically required banks to hold large amounts of pre-funded capital in foreign accounts. That capital sits idle, ties up resources, and adds cost. Larsen’s presentation laid out how Ripple built xRapid, a component of RippleNet, to solve that directly.
