Quant’s QNT Retreats From Late-September High as Futures Open Interest Readings Diverge

QNT was retreating from its late-September high of $373.66 as futures open-interest readings moved toward approximately $120 million. An Oct. 13 update at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC) gave QNT at $219.34, down 6% over 24 hours. QNT had reached $373.66 after rising from below $100 before declining toward the $215–$220 area. Futures open interest increased from roughly $11 million–$15 million between July and Sept. 23 to about $190 million after the price breakout. It later declined toward approximately $120 million from Oct. 2 as QNT moved toward $225.81.
