Pump.fun swaps Relay for its own Pump Bridge on cross-chain trades

The Solana memecoin launchpad says its in-house bridge is about twice as fast as Relay and cuts errors by 92% Pump.fun has stopped renting its cross-chain plumbing and started building its own. The Solana -based memecoin launchpad now sends cross-chain trades through Pump Bridge by default, replacing Relay, the outside provider it used before. The switch happened on October 21, 2026, according to the research findings. Pump Bridge is now the standard route for anyone trading across chains in the Pump.fun app. The headline numbers come from Pump.fun’s internal tests.
