PUFFER rose more than 150% in a 15-minute period ending at 12:46 a.m. ET Thursday (04:46 UTC), shortly before Upbit’s planned opening of a South Korean won market for the token. PUFFER was quoted at 0.069 USDT at the time. The market is scheduled to open at 1 a.m. ET (05:00 UTC) Thursday, 14 minutes after the price update. In South Korea, the scheduled start is 2 p.m. KST on Oct. 15. The planned won-market listing would give PUFFER a local-currency trading venue on Upbit, a South Korean crypto exchange.
