A Polymarket contract put the chance of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude topping $110 a barrel during the rest of October at 31% at 8:01 a.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25. The figure is the contract’s probability estimate for the threshold, not a quoted WTI price. The market asks whether the U.S. benchmark will rise above $110 a barrel before the month ends. The reading was below 34% at 12:54 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 23, in an earlier update on the same contract . Trump said Sunday that oil prices would fall soon.
