Phantom Expands Into Prediction Markets With Kalshi Partnership

Phantom has launched Kalshi-powered prediction markets for eligible U.S. users, with a flat $0.02 fee per contract traded. Linked Kalshi accounts maintain separate balances, while funding and settlement involve additional processing steps. CFTC no-action relief supports Phantom’s software model, but state-level disputes continue over certain event contracts. Phantom is expanding beyond cryptocurrency trading by introducing Kalshi prediction markets to eligible U.S. users, bringing event-based derivatives into an application already used to manage digital assets. The October 28 announcement follows the start of a phased rollout on October 23.
