Payfinia Tests X9.150 QR Payments With Star One Credit Union App

Payfinia tested an X9.150 QR payment workflow with Star One Credit Union’s mobile app, adding a bank-app trial to the payment format featured at Money20/20 in Las Vegas. At the Oct. 19 event, Matera, Payfinia and Solana Foundation demonstrated a business invoice with one X9.150 code offering FedNow, the RTP network or USD Coin (USDC) on Solana. The workflow was a proof of concept, not a product launch. The code presented separate ways to pay; it did not show a conversion between bank payments and USDC.
