Organigram Agrees to Acquire Aurora in C$561 Million Deal

Organigram Global Inc. agreed Tuesday to acquire Aurora Cannabis in a transaction combining cash and shares, valued at about C$561 million. The agreement comes as Curaleaf Holdings, a U.S. competitor, pursues a hostile offer for Aurora. Aurora has recommended that shareholders reject Curaleaf’s revised offer . The proposal, amended Oct. 5, gives each Aurora shareholder $1 in cash plus 0.4013 of a Curaleaf share. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
