OneKey Plans Hardware-Wallet Safeguards Beyond Secure Chips

OneKey plans new hardware-wallet safeguards covering recovery-phrase backups, motherboard communications and supply-chain controls after a recent Ledger-related asset-loss incident raised concerns about how sensitive data reaches a device display. Hardware-wallet security also depends on the data path between the protected chip and the display viewed by users. Sensitive information may be exposed while moving across that final link, rather than from a failure in the secure chip itself. As of Oct. 10, OneKey had not received reports of users losing funds in connection with the Ledger-related incident.
