NYSE Taps Broadridge for Voting on Planned Tokenized-Stock Platform

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) plans to use Broadridge Financial Solutions for shareholder voting and digital transfer-agent services on its planned tokenized-stock platform, extending familiar investor functions to blockchain-based shares. The arrangement covers shareholder recordkeeping, investor communications and proxy voting. Investors could cast votes through supported wallets, brokerage platforms or Broadridge’s ProxyVote service. A transfer agent helps maintain share ownership records and supports communication between companies and investors. The planned services are intended to let tokenized shares trade on-chain while retaining shareholder rights associated with traditional markets.
