NYSE partners with Broadridge for onchain voting in tokenized securities project

Broadridge Financial Solutions has announced it will provide onchain governance infrastructure for the New York Stock Exchange’s upcoming tokenized securities platform. The company, known for operating the ProxyVote shareholder voting system, plans to integrate blockchain technology to streamline shareholder participation and corporate action processes. Under the new arrangement, token holders will have the ability to vote directly from a supported wallet, through their broker, or on ProxyVote. Broadridge’s approach employs smart contracts to connect each tokenized share with its respective meeting agenda and voting procedures.
