NVIDIA Releases Run:ai GPU Orchestration Platform as Open Source

NVIDIA announced on October 13, 2026 that it is releasing the complete Run:ai platform as open source software, making production-grade AI workload and GPU orchestration capabilities available to customers, developers and ecosystem partners without requiring a paid subscription or enterprise support entitlement, according to a post by Tanya Lenz on the NVIDIA Developer Blog. The release expands the NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform by establishing Run:ai as an open foundation for the broader ecosystem.
