Nvidia's market value climbed back above $5 trillion in early U.S. trading Tuesday as a 3.11% share gain returned the chipmaker to the top of the U.S. market-cap rankings. Nvidia shares traded at $208.34, putting its market capitalization at $5.02 trillion. Those figures were recorded in the opening stretch of the U.S. session, so the return above $5 trillion reflects intraday trading rather than a closing valuation. Apple shares fell 3.64% to $326 in the same snapshot, giving it a $4.74 trillion market value. The difference between the two rounded valuations was about $280 billion.
