Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said memory supply is unlikely to outpace demand by 2029, as concerns about weaker future demand and potential oversupply weigh on memory makers’ shares. In a Thursday interview on the sidelines of Nvidia’s GTC Berlin event, Huang said, “You can always use more of it.” He said the company will continue using large amounts of memory and expects HBM, a type of RAM, to remain in use for years. Huang also said Nvidia was the first company to bring LPDDR memory, commonly used in cellphones, into data centers.
