GoMining Adds Bitcoin Checkout Plugin for WooCommerce Merchants

GoMining has made Bitcoin (BTC) checkout available to WooCommerce merchants through a free WordPress plugin, giving online stores a way to accept on-chain payments without building a custom integration. Merchants can get the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory and activate it in their WordPress dashboard. Customers can then choose BTC during a store’s regular checkout, with GoBTC Pay processing the transaction on-chain. Bitcoin checkout still faces practical challenges, including payment confirmation times and integration complexity. GoMining plans to introduce instant payment confirmation for GoMining Wallet customers in November 2026, a feature intended to make checkout faster for those users.
