The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved a security plan for LIS Technologies’ Oak Ridge, Tennessee, test facility, advancing the facility toward a security clearance for the company’s uranium-enrichment work. The Standard Practice Procedures Plan (SPPP) covers security controls for a restricted area intended to protect classified material associated with the company’s CRISLA-4G laser process. LIS Technologies submitted the plan Feb. 11, 2026; the NRC found it met 10 CFR Parts 25 and 95 and 32 CFR Part 117.
